Thank you for your email. Appointments are for urgent requests ONLY. Same-day appointment service requires proof of travel within 24–48 hours of submission and must meet the criteria of a life-or-death emergency. Life-or-death emergencies are life-threatening illnesses or injuries or death in your immediate family (parent, legal guardian, child, spouse, sibling, and grandparent). Proof of the life-or-death emergency could be a death certificate, a statement from a mortuary, or a signed letter from a hospital or medical professional. Sorry, you do not qualify for an urgent appointment.
However, we offer drop-off and pick-up services Monday – Thursday between the hours of 7:30 am to 9:00 am.
Use trackable mail from USPS. You will receive an update when your package arrives in the Sterling, VA postal facility. You will not receive an update when the package arrives up to several days later at our office in Washington, D.C. Your processing times begin when we receive the package in Washington, D.C.
Include one self-addressed, prepaid envelope for return of your document. You must put the postage or air bill on the envelope. Use USPS or UPS. Please do not use FedEx on the return envelope.
